Jeff & Nadeen to appear as a one-nighter Jam Night Host, December 29th The Thursday Night Jam was started at the Riverfront Pub around 15 Years ago !!! It has grown into one of the best known Jam Sessions in the area..With a slow recovery after the Pub fire in 2008 I think its time to get it Rockin again !!! So we have invited the original hosts to come and do a special night at the end of Dec. Come on down if you remember jamming with Jeff and Nadeen or come on down even if you don't .. It will be a fun night |

"Shattered Tone", "Straight Up" & "THE BONE" will rock the stage at the Riverfront Pub Sat. Dec. 3rd to help raise funds for the family of Patrick Watson (Chef and weekend Shuttle Driver from the Pub). Patrick is in the hospital in an induced coma after collapsing in the hospital as a result of bleeding in his brain.. His condition is uncertain but his friends have decided to come together and raise some money to help his family out in the meantime. We will have a cover charge of $5 or 3 non-perishable food items 50-50 draws and a donation box for toys ect. All collections & proceeds will go to Patrick's wife and 3 children ages 5-8 years old. We are all hoping for a full and speedy recovery and I think it's going to be a great turnout !! Hope to see you all there ! |

Grindrod Pub to host metal show Nov 11th, 2011 Friday November 11th Grindrod Pub will be taken over with a metal storm as the stage is handed over to three hard hitting acts. Don't expect these guys to be your regular dress in black hair dragging on the ground spike toting typical metal band though. As with any of Thorny Bleeders artists this group has no fear in bending the genre to fit what they want to do as opposed to conforming. |

Broken Ride makes a stop in Grindrod Oct. 14th, 2011 Melodic hard rockers Broken Ride have announced dates for their Wreckless Heart Western Canadian tour in support of their full-length album, Everything Considered, released earlier this year. The Calgary band detours off the Trans- Canada to play a show at the Riverfront Pub in Grindrod, Friday, Oct. 14. We're very eager to hit the road.
